LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve is actually a dream our Father (Lewis H. Fisher) had of owning his own piece of property to allow his sons, family and friends to hunt, fish and just enjoy activities with our family. Sadly he passed away only months after we bought our slice of God's country. The four of us BMCM (R) Lewis T. Fisher USCG, Elaine Fisher, Colonel (R) Edward J. Fisher USA, and Kate Fisher decided to build upon our Father's wish and of course with our Mother's (Florence L.Fisher) blessing, also expand the purpose of LEEK. Since the two brothers have 57 years of service (actually 62 years if you include our younger brother MK2 Donald H. Fisher USCG) we intend to offer the same activities to our disabled veterans. Assisting our veterans who are no longer able to take advantage of traditional hunting and fishing opportunities offered by our state parks and game lands is our intent. We have already begun by placing handicap hunting facilities throughout the property and will continue to expand our services in order to meet our commitment to America's disabled veterans. You may want to ask why we are undertaking such an incredible task. We are doing this in order to give back to those who have served and wish to provide a wholesome and enjoyable experience. Please contact us if you wish to know more about the dates and activities we are offering. God Bless Our Veterans and Active Duty Service Men and Women.

"The terrain was beautiful. The hunt was successful. Beyond all of that, the people in the community have rallied around what you are doing for our Soldiers. It was the hospitality and home-cooked meals shared with wonderful patriotic families that truly made this hunt. I personally plan to recommend this opportunity to as many of our Wounded Warriors as possible."
